What markets does Moon.com have?
Moon.com advertises four asset categories: crypto, stocks, futures and commodities. Our own capture of Moon’s public feed (sentiment.json, 16 Sep 2026) shows bets on more than 30 markets across those categories: crypto including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, BNB, Zcash (ZEC), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), TRX, XLM, SUI, HYPE, LINK and ADA; gold and silver as XAU/USD and XAG/USD; forex as EUR/USD and GBP/USD; US stocks including Tesla (TSLA), Apple (AAPL), NVDA, PLTR, HOOD, AMD, META, COIN, INTC and NFLX; and the SPX and NDX indices. Each one takes the same bet: pick Up or Down, choose a stake and a leverage multiplier from 1x to 1000x, and your profit or loss is the price move in your direction multiplied by your exposure. Moon advertises the markets as open 24/7, and there is a play-money mode so you can watch any of them move before you deposit.

Each market with its own page has the leverage table in dollars at that asset’s own price: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, BNB, Zcash, gold, EUR/USD and Tesla.

Five markets, worked in detail
| Market | Ticker | Category | Underlying trades |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin | BTC | Crypto | 24/7 on crypto exchanges |
| Ethereum | ETH | Crypto | 24/7 on crypto exchanges |
| Solana | SOL | Crypto | 24/7 on crypto exchanges |
| Apple | AAPL | Stock | US exchange hours, weekdays |
| Tesla | TSLA | Stock | US exchange hours, weekdays |
These five are the ones we walk through with worked examples below. They are not the whole list: our capture of Moon’s public feed shows more than 30 markets live in total, and nine of them, including gold, EUR/USD and Tesla, have their own leverage-table page linked above. Moon has not published a full market catalogue, so this page names only what we have seen traded. Futures and commodities are covered near the end.
The sentiment pages show which way Moon traders lean on each asset right now, with a page per market such as BTC, drawn from Moon’s public open long and short volume.
Are Moon.com markets really open 24/7?
Moon’s homepage says you can bet with real money 24/7, and for the three crypto markets that lines up with the underlying: Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana trade around the clock on exchanges worldwide, so there is always a live price to bet against.
Stocks are different. Apple and Tesla trade on a US exchange that closes every evening and all weekend. A stock bet placed on Moon at that time is not settling against an open exchange; it is pricing off Moon’s own feed. Moon’s public pages do not say how that feed behaves outside exchange hours, so before you place a stock bet on a Saturday, check in the app how Moon prices stocks when the underlying market is closed, and whether the market takes new bets at all.
Whatever the hour, you are betting against Moon at a price it sets with a spread in its favor, not trading on an order book. The how it works guide walks through that structure and the four fees.
Market by market: what a typical day does at 10x and 100x
Each example below uses a $100 stake and the same arithmetic: stake × leverage = exposure; move % × exposure = gross profit or loss; then the 1% opening fee on the stake and a 10% performance fee on realized profit. Holding fees are left out (assume the bet closes inside 8 hours) and so is the spread, whose size is undisclosed; in practice it makes every result slightly worse than shown.
The daily moves are illustrative, not historical figures. At 10x, a 10% move against you liquidates the bet. At 100x, a 1% move does. The liquidation guide has the distance for every tier.
Bitcoin (BTC)
Call it a 2% day.
- 10x: exposure $1,000. A 2% move is $20. In your favor: $20 − $1 opening fee − $2 performance fee = +$17. Against you: −$20 − $1 = −$21, with $80 of stake still in the bet.
- 100x: exposure $10,000. A 2% move is $200. In your favor: $200 − $1 − $20 = +$179. Against you: the bet was liquidated at −1%, so you lose the full $100 stake plus the opening fee: −$101.
Ethereum (ETH)
Call it a 3% day.
- 10x: exposure $1,000. A 3% move is $30. In your favor: $30 − $1 − $3 = +$26. Against you: −$31, with $70 left in the bet.
- 100x: exposure $10,000. A 3% move is $300. In your favor: $300 − $1 − $30 = +$269. Against you: liquidated at −1%, −$101.
Solana (SOL)
Call it a 5% day.
- 10x: exposure $1,000. A 5% move is $50. In your favor: $50 − $1 − $5 = +$44. Against you: −$51, half the stake gone.
- 100x: exposure $10,000. A 5% move is $500. In your favor: $500 − $1 − $50 = +$449. Against you: liquidated at −1%, −$101. A market that can move 5% in a day at 100x is a bet on the next few minutes, not the day.
Apple (AAPL)
Call it a 1% day.
- 10x: exposure $1,000. A 1% move is $10. In your favor: $10 − $1 − $1 = +$8. Against you: −$11.
- 100x: exposure $10,000. A 1% move is $100. In your favor: $100 − $1 − $10 = +$89. Against you: a 1% move is exactly the liquidation distance at 100x, and the spread brings the real trigger closer, so the bet is gone: −$101.
Apple is the quietest market of the five on a typical day, which is why the 10x figures look small. At 100x the same quiet day still spans the whole liquidation buffer.
Tesla (TSLA)
Call it a 4% day.
- 10x: exposure $1,000. A 4% move is $40. In your favor: $40 − $1 − $4 = +$35. Against you: −$41.
- 100x: exposure $10,000. A 4% move is $400. In your favor: $400 − $1 − $40 = +$359. Against you: liquidated at −1%, −$101.
Both stock examples assume the bet runs during exchange hours. Outside them, check how Moon prices the market before you rely on any of these figures.
Futures and commodities on Moon.com
Moon lists futures and commodities as asset categories alongside crypto and stocks. Commodities are live: gold and silver, as XAU/USD and XAG/USD, are both on Moon’s public feed, and the gold page has the worked example. We have not seen a futures market on the same feed, so that half of the category is still unconfirmed. The same two questions apply whenever one shows up: the hours the market takes new bets, and how Moon prices it when the underlying venue is closed.
How leverage changes each market
At 10x, none of the five markets liquidates on a typical day; you keep most of your stake through a move against you and can close or ride it. At 100x, every one of them can, because the liquidation distance is 1% and each of these markets moves that far on an ordinary day. At 1000x the distance is 0.1%, which all five cross many times an hour.
Leverage is a per-bet setting, so you can run 5x on Apple and 100x on Solana in the same session. The leverage guide has a calculator and a tier-by-tier breakdown. The sensible way to pick a multiplier is to look at how far the market moves on a normal day and choose a leverage whose liquidation distance sits well outside it.
One sentence on leverage
At 100x a 1% move against you ends the bet, and at 1000x a 0.1% move does, so on every market listed here the stake you put in is money you should already have decided you can lose.
Before your first bet
Deposits are crypto only, and Moon asks for KYC (government ID front and back plus proof of address) before your first deposit. There is no welcome bonus at the time of writing; a new account gets rakeback on fees and the VIP track, covered on the promo code page. Moon is not available in every country; the FAQ has the current list.
Start in play-money mode. Open Bitcoin at 10x and Apple at 100x side by side and watch how differently a quiet hour treats them. That comparison tells you which market and which multiplier suit the way you want to bet.
Frequently asked
What can you bet on at Moon.com?
Moon advertises crypto, stocks, futures and commodities. Our own capture of Moon's public feed shows bets on more than 30 markets: crypto, gold and silver, forex, US stocks and two stock indices. Check the app for the current list.
Does Moon.com have stocks?
Yes. Our capture of Moon's public feed shows bets on TSLA, AAPL, NVDA, PLTR, HOOD, AMD, META, COIN, INTC and NFLX, and Moon lists stocks as one of its four asset categories. Stock exchanges close overnight and at weekends, so check in the app how Moon prices a stock bet outside exchange hours.
Which cryptocurrencies can you bet on at Moon.com?
Our capture of Moon's public feed shows bets on BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, BNB, ZEC, LTC, BCH, DOGE, TRX, XLM, SUI, HYPE, LINK and ADA. Moon has not published a full list, so open the markets screen in the app for what is available today.
Are Moon.com markets open 24/7?
Moon advertises real-money betting 24/7. Crypto trades around the clock anyway; for stocks, gold and forex, the underlying market has its own hours and is closed for part of that time, so a bet on one of those on Moon prices off Moon's own feed rather than an open exchange.
Can you bet on commodities or futures at Moon.com?
Commodities, yes: gold and silver, as XAU/USD and XAG/USD, are both on Moon's public feed. We have not seen a futures market on the same feed, so that half of the category is still unconfirmed. The app's markets screen shows what is live.
How much does a 2% move pay at 100x on Moon.com?
On a $100 bet at 100x, exposure is $10,000 and a 2% move in your favor is a $200 gross win, about $179 after the 1% opening fee and a 10% performance fee. A 1% move against you liquidates the bet first, so a 2% day the wrong way costs the full $100 stake.
