Basics
What is Moon.com?
Moon.com is a leverage betting platform that launched publicly around 25 to 26 August 2026. You pick a market, bet whether the price goes Up or Down, and choose a leverage multiplier of up to 1000x, with markets open 24/7 and a free play-money mode to learn on. It is run by Moon International Limited, a company registered in the Union of the Comoros. Our full review covers the operator, fees and trust picture in depth.
How does betting on Moon.com work?
You choose an asset, a direction, a stake and a leverage level. Your exposure is stake times leverage; profit and loss are calculated on the exposure, but your maximum loss is capped at the stake. Moon is the counterparty to your bet rather than another user, and its terms reserve a pricing edge in its favour. The how it works page walks through examples with real numbers.
What can you bet on at Moon.com?
Moon says it covers crypto, stocks, futures and commodities. At the time of writing the visible markets were Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Apple and Tesla. Moon advertises 24/7 betting; which markets are open at a given hour is shown on the platform itself.
Who owns Moon.com?
The operator named in the terms is Moon International Limited, Comoros registration 16151, with a registered office at Hamchako, Mutsamudu, Anjouan. Moon.com does not name its founders. Press coverage has reported a link to Easygo, the company behind Stake, through founders Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani, citing LinkedIn postings. We describe that as reported; our Moon vs Stake page goes into it.
When did Moon.com launch?
Public launch was around 25 to 26 August 2026, after an invite-only beta, so every review of Moon, including ours, is working from a couple of weeks of history.
Account & KYC
Do I need to verify my identity on Moon.com?
Yes. Moon’s help centre says verification is required before you can deposit, not just before you withdraw, so get it done straight after registering.
What documents does Moon.com KYC require?
A government-issued ID, front and back, plus proof of address. Moon’s terms also allow enhanced due diligence for users it considers higher risk, which can include source-of-funds questions.
Can I deposit before completing KYC?
No. Moon’s help centre states that you verify first, then deposit. Withdrawals also require completed verification.
Can I try Moon.com without depositing?
Yes. Moon’s homepage advertises a play-money mode alongside real-money betting. It is the best way to see how the opening fee, holding fee and spread affect a position before you deposit, and it’s the right first stop.
Deposits & withdrawals
What deposit methods does Moon.com accept?
Cryptocurrency only. Moon’s help centre states that it supports crypto deposits and nothing else, so there are no card, bank transfer or e-wallet options, and funds are usable as soon as the network confirms.
Which cryptocurrencies does Moon.com accept?
Moon does not publish a supported coin and network list in the pages we reviewed. You will see the current options on the deposit screen once you are verified. We will add the list to our deposits and withdrawals page once we can source it from Moon directly.
What is the minimum deposit on Moon.com?
Not published. Neither the terms nor the help-centre articles we reviewed state a minimum. Check the deposit screen for each coin after verification.
How long do Moon.com withdrawals take?
Moon does not publish a processing time. Its terms say withdrawals are subject to AML and counter-terrorist-financing checks, minimum and maximum limits and network fees, and that KYC must be complete. Make a small withdrawal early so you know how it behaves for your account.
Are there withdrawal limits or fees?
Yes on both, per the terms, but Moon does not publish the numbers in the pages we reviewed. You should expect a network fee for the coin you withdraw in and a minimum withdrawal amount. Maximum limits may depend on your verification level.
Fees
What fees does Moon.com charge?
Four things. A 1% opening fee on your stake, a holding fee every 8 hours while the bet is open, a performance fee of at least 10% of realized profit, and a spread or pricing edge in Moon’s favour. Two of those four, the holding rate and the spread, are not published as numbers. The review has the full fee table and a worked example.
What is the Moon.com holding fee?
A charge assessed every 8 hours while a position stays open. Moon describes the rate as dynamic and does not publish it. A bet closed within minutes never pays it; a bet held overnight pays it three times.
What is the Moon.com performance fee?
Moon takes a minimum of 10% of the realized profit on a winning bet. Nothing is charged on losing bets. Note the word minimum: the help centre sets a floor, not a fixed rate.
Does Moon.com charge a spread?
Yes. Moon’s terms reserve the right to apply a spread or other pricing edge in its favour, and the size is not disclosed. At high leverage the spread is multiplied along with everything else, which makes it the most important number Moon does not publish.
Is there a Moon.com promo code or welcome bonus?
The code is viptrack (lowercase, it is case-sensitive). Our referral link applies it for you, and signing up through it puts you on the VIP track with rakeback on fees. As of 4 September 2026 there is no welcome bonus or deposit match yet. Our promo code page explains what you get and will be updated the day Moon launches an offer.
What is Moon.com rakeback?
A rebate of 3.5% of the fees you pay, credited back on every bet, win or lose. It is activated through approved affiliates and streamers or at Bronze VIP, and it is a percentage of fees, not of stake: on a $100 bet with a $1 opening fee, rakeback is 3.5 cents. Bonus funds on Moon carry wagering requirements per the terms.
Leverage & liquidation
What is the maximum leverage on Moon.com?
The homepage advertises up to 1000x. The terms only promise “1x or greater”, so the real ceiling on any market is whatever the bet ticket offers at the time. Our leverage guide has liquidation distances for every tier and a calculator.
How far does the price have to move to liquidate me?
Roughly 100% divided by your leverage, before spread and fees. At 10x that is a 10% move against you; at 100x it is 1%; at 1000x it is 0.1%. Because the spread moves your entry price against you from the start, the real distance is a little less than that at every tier.
What happens when a bet is liquidated on Moon.com?
The bet closes automatically and your stake is gone. There is no margin call and no chance to add funds to keep it open. At 1000x this can happen within seconds of opening, during normal price noise.
Can I lose more than my stake on Moon.com?
No. Your maximum loss on any bet is the stake you put in, plus the fees already charged. You cannot end up owing Moon money, which is the main difference from margin trading at a broker; at high leverage the whole stake can go in seconds.
Where is Moon.com not available?
Moon’s terms of service name 43 restricted jurisdictions. Moon states it does not hold local gambling licences in these markets and will not serve users located there. The full list, as published in the terms at the time of writing:
Afghanistan, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Croatia, Cuba, Curaçao, Czech Republic, Cyprus, DR Congo, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Liberia, Libya, Lithuania, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, North Korea, Ontario (Canada), Peru, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, South Africa, South Sudan, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States, Zimbabwe.
Moon applies this list at sign-up and verification. The list can change; Moon’s terms are the authority.
Is Moon.com available in Australia?
No. Australia is explicitly named in the restricted list. Moon holds no Australian licence and its terms say so. There is no state-level exception.
Is Moon.com available in the UK?
No. The United Kingdom is on the restricted list. Moon is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and does not accept UK players.
Is Moon.com available in the US?
No. The United States is on the restricted list, with no state-by-state carve-out. Moon’s terms state it holds no local licence there.
Is Moon.com available in Canada?
Partly. Ontario is specifically restricted; the rest of Canada is not named in the list at the time of writing. Check the terms for your province before signing up, and remember that “not listed” is not the same as “licensed”.
Safety & support
Is Moon.com legit?
Moon.com is a real product from a named company with a registered address, published terms, a help centre and a working platform. The trust gaps are that it is offshore, that its terms do not publish a licence number, and that it launched only weeks ago. Real, but not yet proven. The review has our full reasoning and rating.
Is Moon.com licensed?
Moon’s terms name the Comoros company registration but no licence number and no regulator. A third-party site reports an Anjouan gaming licence for Moon; we have not checked that against the register and do not repeat the number. Until Moon publishes a licence in its own terms, treat it as unlicensed for practical purposes.
Is Moon.com a scam?
We found no evidence that it is. A scam does not usually publish detailed KYC, AML and responsible-gambling terms, a fee explainer or a play-money mode. What Moon is, is an offshore operator with an undisclosed spread and no published licence, which is a different thing. Be wary of lookalike domains that combine “moon” with another brand name.
Does Moon.com have an app?
No. There is no native iOS or Android app, per Moon’s help centre. Use the site in a mobile browser and add it to your home screen for a one-tap shortcut.
What responsible gambling tools does Moon.com have?
Moon’s terms include a Take a Break feature, from one day to three months, and self-exclusion for a minimum of six months or permanently. Our responsible gambling page lists the tools and outside help lines.
How do I contact Moon.com support?
Moon runs a help centre at help.moon.com and an official X account, @getonmoon. If you are asking about rakeback activation after signing up through a referral link, support is the place to get it switched on.
Frequently asked
Is Moon.com legit?
Moon.com is a real, operating platform run by Moon International Limited, a company registered in the Union of the Comoros (registration 16151) with published terms and a help centre. It is offshore, launched in late August 2026, and its terms do not publish a gambling licence number, so treat it as real but lightly documented.
Is Moon.com licensed?
Moon's own terms of service name the operating company and its Comoros registration but do not include a licence number or a regulator. A third-party site reports an Anjouan licence; we have not verified that and do not repeat the number. Moon's terms also state it holds no local licences in the countries it restricts.
Is Moon.com owned by Stake?
Moon.com does not say. Press coverage has reported a connection to Easygo, the company behind Stake, via founders Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani, based on LinkedIn postings. We treat that as reported, not confirmed.
What is the minimum deposit on Moon.com?
Moon does not publish a minimum deposit in the pages we reviewed. Deposits are crypto-only and you must complete KYC before you can deposit. The deposit screen after verification shows the current minimum for each coin.
How long do Moon.com withdrawals take?
Moon does not publish a withdrawal processing time. Withdrawals are subject to AML checks, minimum and maximum limits and network fees, and require completed KYC. The platform is too new to have a reliable body of user reports.
Does Moon.com have an app?
No. Moon's help centre says there is no native iOS or Android app. You use the site in a mobile browser and can add it to your home screen for a shortcut.
What fees does Moon.com charge?
A 1% opening fee on your stake, a holding fee every 8 hours at a dynamic unpublished rate, a performance fee of at least 10% of realized profit, and an undisclosed spread or pricing edge in Moon's favour.
What is the maximum leverage on Moon.com?

Can I lose more than my stake on Moon.com?
No. When the loss on your leveraged exposure reaches your stake, the bet is closed and the stake is gone. You cannot go into negative balance, but you can lose the entire stake in seconds at high leverage.
Is Moon.com available in Australia?
No. Australia is named in Moon's restricted-jurisdiction list and Moon's terms state it holds no Australian licence.
Is Moon.com available in the UK?
No. The United Kingdom is on Moon's restricted list. Moon does not hold a UK Gambling Commission licence and does not accept UK players.
