What comes back to you with rakeback

Rakeback is a standing rebate: 3.5% of every fee you pay on Moon, credited back to your account whether the bet wins or loses. It runs on top of everything else and never stops accruing.

Here is what that looks like on a single bet.

• You bet $100 on Bitcoin Up.
• Moon charges a 1% opening fee on the stake: $1.00.
• Rakeback returns 3.5% of that fee: $0.035.

Hold the bet across an 8-hour holding-fee window and that fee joins the pool too. Close a winner and the performance fee (at least 10% of realized profit) feeds it as well: on a $100 bet that wins $50, the performance fee is at least $5, and 17.5 cents of that comes back.

It adds up with volume. Bet $100 a hundred times in a month and you’ve paid $100 in opening fees and earned $3.50 back. Bet $1,000 a hundred times and it’s $35, before holding and performance fees are counted. It is a rebate on fees rather than a bonus on stake, and it is the one Moon perk that pays out on every single bet.

Moon’s help centre gives two routes, and the referral link puts you on the first one from day one.

Through an approved affiliate or streamer. Sign up via the link and rakeback is meant to switch on for your account. After registering:

1. Complete verification (government ID plus proof of address; Moon asks for both before your first deposit).
2. Open the rewards or VIP area in your account.
3. If rakeback shows as active, you’re set. If not, message Moon support, say you registered through a referral link, and ask them to enable it.

Through Bronze VIP. Rakeback also switches on when you reach Bronze VIP. Moon doesn’t publish the threshold, so support is the place to ask how close you are.

Wagering requirements on bonus funds

Moon’s terms state that bonus funds carry wagering requirements: if Moon credits you with promotional money, you bet through it a set number of times before it becomes withdrawable. Moon hasn’t published a fixed multiple yet because there is no live welcome offer to attach one to. When one launches, the multiple goes here with a worked example.

Rakeback is different. It’s a rebate on fees you’ve already paid, and Moon’s help centre doesn’t describe it as bonus money with a wagering requirement attached.
